The role of a transmission cooler is cooling. The transmission cooler is usually a cooling tube, placed in the water out room of the radiator, and cools the transmission oil flowing through the cooling pipe from the cooler.
The role of all oil coolers is to cool the lubricant, keeping the oil temperature within the normal working range. On high -power enhanced engines, due to the large heat load, it is necessary to use the oil cooler. When the engine is running, the oil viscosity becomes thinner because the temperature increases, reducing the lubrication ability. Therefore, some engines are equipped with oil cooler, which is to reduce the temperature of the oil and maintain a certain viscosity of lubricating oil. The oil cooler is arranged on the circulating oil circuit. Types of oil cooler
1) Water -cooler oil cooler oil cooler is placed in the cooling water road, using the temperature of the cooling water to control the temperature of the lubricant. When the temperature of the lubricant is high, when the cooling water is cooled, and the engine is started, the heat absorbs the heat from the cooling water to quickly increase the temperature. The oil cooler is composed of the shell, front cover, back cover and copper core tube made of aluminum alloy. In order to strengthen the cooling, there was a heat sink outside the tube. Cooling water flows outside the tube, lubricating oil flows inside the tube, and the two conduct heat exchange. There are also structure that allows oil to flow outside the tube, and water flows inside the tube.
2) The core of the air -cooled oil cooler cooler oil cooler is composed of many cooling pipes and cooling boards. When driving in the car, the oil cooler core of the wind cooling heat is used to use the car. The air -cooled oil cooler requires good ventilation. It is difficult to ensure sufficient ventilation space on ordinary cars, and it is generally rarely used. Most of the coolers are used on the car, because the racing speed is high and the cooling air volume is large.
